Haven't we discussed this before?

Just curious why ( can't remember) you are a opponent of running Marvel all the time.

It most certainly will keep the crud inside the engine, from starting in the first place.

Pontiacs (372's, 389's, 421's,428's 455's) had this problem at start up for years, and the engines ran like a raped apes. ( Old's and Caddy's had the same start up clack)

And in my youth, always ran Marvel in my "Tin Indian's" and never had the start up clack.

A collapsed lifter, will cause zero catistrophic damage to any valve train, unless the rocker is so totally out of adjustment, the push rod jumps out of the lifter.

Then you have problems.
