Hi List
       I know this subject has been beaten to death, but I've tried everything
       I can think of. My '91 idles fine when cold but when it's warm it goes
       up and beyond 1K. I also have an original 40K mile car, which, of
course
       doesn't have this problem. I have been systematically swapping all of
       the suspect components as follows: idle stabilzer valve, relay unit
       (behind the right tail light), air flow meter, throttle body, ECU,
distributor
       as well as replacing the throttle cable, and still, the problem
persists.
       I godda be missing something, but what? All I can say is, if I shut it
off
       and restart, it returns to normal until I drive again for a while.
Also, I can
       put on the brake and slowly let the clutch out while in gear until it
goes
       down to normal and it will hold that way until I drive for a while.
And
       sometimes if I drop the accelerator pedal suddenly, it will return to
       normal....nworble? Could there perhaps be a problem in the vast and
       sometimes, I think, vascuous vacuum system? Anybody with similar
       probs.? They're all unique, I know.
