Subject: leaving for trip, would like to have some emergency contacts
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

i already have four or five folk who have kindly offered local assistance while we're on our three plus week driving trip starting on saturday. but we're going a hell of a long way, and i'd sure like to be able to call on others, if necessary (sign of the "corna", pointed at the floor, to ward off evil vanagon spirits, a gift from my half-italian wife ali). sadly, i don't have time to get the limbo or neato books, but will be taking a printout of the vanagon.com repair shops.

our route, roughly, is from 1. santa cruz,ca to klamath falls, and portland,or 2. to spokane,wa, butte,mt, buffalo,wy, and custer,sd 3. to estes park, gunnison, and durango,co 4. to santa fe,nm 5. to mesa verde,nm, blanding, the burr trail, boulder, bryce, and zion,ut 6. to mono lake, yosemite, and santa cruz,ca.

any and all responses will be much appreciated, and if we can meet (especially in non-dire circumstances), met with cold microbrews (or fabled beverage of choice and local availability).

thanks in advance, very very much.
