Bad? Well, no. Somebody installed an auxillery switch in my 84. Of course you have to remember to turn it on and off. To forget, could cause trouble.

It is a cheep fix to make, takes all of ten minutes, mostly dropping the spare, and you'll feel better about it. You really don't need to bleed the cooling system if you have fast hands.
