Clamp the hoses with wooden blocks. That will eliminate the need to bleed. Not need for speed . . . I take it you have a new core. Don't try to rebuild the old one. They are pretty flimsy to begin with, and once the corrosion starts, it will super thin in one place here, one place there, and you will be forever "rebuilding" it. At least, that's my view. All said, its a simple operation and you can do this easily with no murphy's mishaps or screw ups. go forth Sir James and commence wrenching hk
