Another BEAR is clamping that control cable to the valve with little metal clip(if you haven't lost it already)

I got so pissed off with that piece of s%$& i eliminated it alltogether and installed mucho better valve(from Honda car) above the floor behind that large plastic cover where it fits nicely and works great Leon 85 Subwagen Westy
