Michelle: Lonny does very good work, knows vanagons and vws as well as anyone in the area. He has his own shop, called University Tire and Auto Center. It is located at 1309 Christian Ave. which is one block east of Cole Mill Rd (an exit on I-85 for you travelers) off Hillsboro Rd. It is near Bo Jangles.

He has done some work for me, though I do most of my own work. He has consistently provided quality, affordable, reliable repairs over the years for one of my wife's friends .

He is no longer has any affiliation with Guess Road Amoco and they should probably be taken of the lists of quality repair shops.

I agree with Bill, it is really an easy repair, you could probably get the parts from Bus Depot and do it yourself.

Good Luck and drive well. Wave when you pass the yellow westy.
