If you are willing to change your gears to match your tire choice, the perfect tire for this wheel would be 245/75/16 BF Goodrich All Terrain Radial or alternatively 215/85R16, which has effectively the same circumference.

For information on how to gear your transmission to go along with this tire, see the post I just made to the syncro list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Syncro/message/7207

If you *don't* want to regear your transmission, then use 215/70r16 but install ratio rockers and the chip upgrade or you may be disappointed in how slow you go up hills.

In fact, if you don't want to regear your transmission, then possibly the South African 15" wheels would give you a wider range of tire choices.
