I just struggled with the pully installation on our TiiCo too. Figured it out about 20 minutes ago and called it a day. The mounting plate on our TiiCo has 4 "mounts" attached to it. On ours, from left to right the A/C compressor went in the first position, {after hammering the threaded insert into the rear side of the mount), the next mount receives the slotted belt tensioner for the A/C, the next the alternator, and the last (hanging off of the end) the P.S. pump. Some things that we had to modify were: the alternator mount wasn't quite big enough to accept the alternator base. It had to be persuaded a bit. The belt tensioner for the A/C caused the biggest headache. As delivered, it would not allow the alternator to move far enough toward the loose belt position to allow the belt to be installed. I finally saw that the base of the tensioner was striking the base plate restricting it's motion. About 15 minutes at the bench grinder and all's well. The belt shown in the illustration going from A/C to Alternator was not included in our kit (P209 I think it was), thankfully I had a belt hanging on the wall that had been the wrong size for my Jetta. Worked perfectly. Clearly this is not a job for the occasional mechanic. So far my skills seem up to the job, and I am enjoying the challenge.

More as it develops.

Gary
