Hi Bake,

Check my website about conversion info. You will find the starter and transmission issues the easiest to solve.

I'm just off University Blvd in Silver Spring...I'd like to see your project sometime!

I just ripped a 5 cylinder turbo Audi engine out of an old quatro. I'm thinking of putting it into my 84. Of course there are issues with the starter and the transmission, but I think I can get past them. Has anybody ever done something like this ? Or, does anybody have any brainstorms regarding this undertaking ?

-Bake
