Several of us saw and drove Brian's Subaru 6 cyl "SuperSyncro" at this years Hollister, CA Syncro event. Brian brought it all the way down from Tacoma, WA. It is an amazing experience. I like to call it the "Carerra 4" of Vanagons. Smooth power and effortless acceleration in any gear.

When this conversion was completed the original VW tranny was used with well over 100K+ miles and a slight whine. Last word (just last week) is its still going fine several thousand miles after the conversion and with a lot of heavy footed test drivers having taken a shot at it, .....like me.

Brian has just completed another 6 cyl conversion into a Westy Syncro. It will be interesting to see how this one holds up with the extra weight of the Westy.

Start saving you lunch money guys
