different Merc wheels have different offsets. I have a set of 16x7" CLK
alloys which I bought from Bent Bits; if I can stuff a set of Porsche 993
brakes inside them I'll be using them, with 11mm spacers, on my 2WD. They
are ET37; this rim size needs alteration to ET26 or so, hence the need for
spacers.

Center openings don't need enlarging. Some Mercs have big studs and won't
need enlarging of the lugholes (S-Class).

You may need longer front bolts... ask Bent.
