Hi Gang- Our TiiCo arrived a week ago today. Pretty exciting stuff considering I ordered it in early May. When the crate was offloaded, I did see that one of the corners was split open and that some of the contents had shifted around a bit. Everything looked OK though. Now I wish that there had been a parts list to check the crate contents against. Last nite I realized that we are missing the left engine support and the ignition control unit. I e-mailed Peter but haven't heard back yet. Anyone know if he stocks any of this stuff here in the U.S., or do these missing parts have to originate in S.A.?

The other neat part about our project is that we had a failing tranny at the same time. Well, might as well jump all the way in and go with the Weddle 5 speed. That arrived about a month ago. My expectation is that the Golf engine and a 5 speed tranny should make an awesome combo. I'll let you know...

Gary
