Jim; I have an Eurospec conversion and I have a similar observation. Though my air conditioner compressor is not working so the belt is not present. my power steering overflow tank is right there and it shows signs of wear where the belt was!!! My air filter is directly behind the liscense plate and it shows wear from the bolts holding the lower pulley of the power steering!!! The motor moves a bit while you drive!!

So, Yes it is an issue! Careful alignment and maybe moving it over a bit may be an option.

I can't say for sure because I'm waiting for the left motor mount to arrive, but it looks like the AC compressor pulley will rub the burp tank (coolant tank behind the license plate) when I finish Tiicoizing my '85 Westy.

Anyone else run into this? Any suggestions?

TIA
