There is usually a switch on the radios to move them from one setup to another. I haven't looked at the back of a car radio to see if there is such a switch in quite a while. This switch might be hidden inside the chassis if it's not outside.

I am importing a Multivan from Germany and they are offering to sell me the CD-Changer / Radio setup. Do the German FM radios work correctly in North America. Why I ask is here the spacing is 0.2MHz i.e. 95.7, 95.9, 96.1, 96.3 etc where in Europe it is 0.1Mhz (95.5, 95.6, 95.7 etc).
