Brian,

You can "retro fit" anything into anything. Your mechanical skill and financial ability will dictate whether it is practical or not.

I am hoping to add AC to my 1.6TD eventually -- AFTER I get at least a 1.9TD in it. The 1.6 TD has enough trouble getting my Syncro moving let alone run AC.

I got some Tiico brackets for a terrific price from listee Arlen Kerbaugh. Now I have to figure out if it can clear the injection pump in the 1.9TD and 1.9TDI engines with this bracket. I will be very interested to read any replies you may receive to this query.
