Yes, we still need to wire the OXS. I haven't connected mine to the ECU
yet, so don't know about the multiple pins... Peter has instructions on the
owner's page on his website. One wire goes to the ECU and another gets
power from the +15 terminal at the coil.
I got my torque converter bolts from a local nut/bolt supply house called
Wilder's in Raleigh. Got 10.9 grade bolts with allen type heads. I had to
use washers since the original bolts have a built-in washer. Be sure to get
replacement bolts that are 2mm (plus washer width) longer than original, and
not any longer because of the potential to bottom out on the torque
converter threads.
What I did with the engine to trans studs: The two bottom studs are too
long, so I replaced them with the studs from a Type-1 engine. They fit
perfectly. The top left stud is was too short, so I just used a long 10mm
bolt instead, there is plenty of clearance to slide a bolt through instead
of using a stud. On the starter side, the kit bolt is used. The nut goes
into a countersunk bore on the engine side. DON'T drill anything!

The instructions for the TiiCo kit only mention the OXS in the final tuning
section. Does this mean that there is wiring for the OXS in the harness? Or
do we still need to wire it ourselves? If so, I see on the pin out for the
ECU 2 places to plug the OXS in, but there are 3 wires attached to it.
Where does the 3rd wire go?
Also, where have you folks gotten the longer torque converter bolts?
Lastly, my old 2.1l auto used 2 studs at the bottom of the motor, a bolt at
the upper driver's side and the starter bolt/nut on the upper passenger
side. The TiiCo kit has three studs and the starter bolt/nut. Do I just
remove that upper driver's side stud, drill out the hole, and use a longer
bolt, or what?
