Spent an hour with the SO getting a side window out of the westie to repair some rust. However the front window will have the potential to leak as air pressure will force the water through any crevice. Ours leaked in a HEAVY rainstorm on the way back from Cedar Point amusement park. Just a small trickle on each side by the door jamb. Not much to worry about and if I lived in Cali I wouldn't do anything about it. Here in Indiana I would want to protect the electricals from winter salt. etc. So take some windshield sealer goo or black silicone and fix it. No worrys.
