Oh learned ones,

I finally received the missing mount for my conversion kit yesterday and got everything bolted up. Only problem is that it won't crank.

I have spark to the plugs, and it turns over fine. I downloaded the Motronic shop manual, but I don't have the electronic test equipment or computer equivalent.

I don't believe I'm getting fuel. The pump works fine when hot wired and will fill up a pint jar quickly, but I pulled the blank-off cap from the unused side of the pressure regulator with the switch on and got no fuel delivery.

I have the pump connected to the white wire in the Tiico harness. My car is an '85, and I have nothing connected to the ground wire which terminates in the same plug as the white wire.

That white wire is reading 5.17 volts on an accurate meter, and it doesn't matter whether the fuse near the new ECU is in or out. I still get 5.17 volts. This seems strange because my manual claims that the new fuse is for the fuel pump. Do I have the pump connected wrong? Any suggestions?

TIA

Jim Huskins
