I use a 500MHz magnet on occasion. It works wonders. I'd recommend it to everybody! Just this morning i used it to determine the structure of a simple molecule- and it took just minutes until i had success! Known as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance... also know as Magnetic Resonance Imaging... aka MRI. These magnets are liquid helium cooled (4K, or -269C) and cost about half a mil. Can't speak to the other issues, but for that specific purpose they sure convinced me. Snake oil to some maybe... wonderfully effective for me. > > Mick > Hilo, Hawaii > |
