I checked the archives and was surprized I didn't find the answer to this question. I have an 86 w/ auto trans. Want to change my gear oil in my differential. Looked under there for the drain and fill plugs, but only found the one obvious one on the side. It seems too low to be the fill, and too high to be the dreain. The pan on the bottom dips way down, and there is no drain at the bottom. Is it best to remove that pan to get the oil out? Also, Bentley specifies SAE90 Mil-L2105B oil. I'm not able to find that. I didn find a 85w90 with a Mil- rating that seemed to be a higher number. Is that OK? Thanks, Edward |
