David,

In your case there is no problem. The Euro-radio tunes in finer steps than necessary for North America, but it will hit the right frequencies without problems.

The problems start when taking a North American tuner to Europe! Eg. here in Holland, traffic radio is 90.2 FM. Popular rock channel: 96.8 FM. You would not be able to hit those frequencies with a US tuner. However, you will be able to catch Radio 4, 98.9 FM, with fine classical broadcasts from the Concertgebouw on Sunday mornings...

Hope this helps, Robin 90 Vanagon TD Westfalia 00 Pioneer CD/tuner, switchable between the 2 tuning styles by pressing five buttons together for a few seconds

Why I ask is here the spacing is 0.2MHz i.e. 95.7, 95.9, 96.1, > 96.3 etc where in Europe it is 0.1Mhz (95.5, 95.6, 95.7 etc). > > Tuning in for your input! > > David Marshall > > Fast Forward Automotive Inc. > 4356 Quesnel Hixon Road > Quesnel BC Canada V2J 6Z3 > mailto:info@fastforward.ca <mailto:info@fastforward.ca> > http://www.fastforward.ca <http://www.fastforward.ca> > Phone: (250) 992 7775 FAX: (250) 992 1160 > > • Vanagon Accessories and Engine Conversions > • Transporter, Unimog and Iltis Sales > • European Lighting for most Audi and Volkswagen models
