Books: Blue Highways, by William Least Heat Moon.

Roads: US Route 50 across Nevada: one of my favorites!

Places to Visit: Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah.

Brian:  I have driven across country 5 times: let me know where you are
headed and I will weigh in with a few more suggestions!
