Subject: Horn gone

My horn started honking itself and I noticed a bit of smoke from the area. At the same time frame I had stuck a map light in the cigarette lighter. So I stopped using the map light (from Walgreens) and took the fuse out for the horn. My question is, is use of the map light and the horn malfunction a coincidence, or are the wires related and is the map light too much? Either way I later found some torn copper shavings from a flat-disc-metal-piece in the horn. I still have them if anyones interested.
