DO NOT PUT 185/70's on your Vanagon. This tire is way too small. If using a non-LT or reinforced tire, you need at least a 215/70 -14.

I've followed the threads on tires - but I need 'em for a 89 Carat passenger van (not a Westie) - been told the Michelin Agilis (18570R14) or MX4 (same) will work. The MX4 is a 4 ply rated 1235 lbs@35psi-- the Agilis is 6 ply rated 1709 lbs@54 psi --

I know this is a potentially volitile subject but sure need some help/opionions/experiences..

Thanks all,

Tony '89 Carat - Agnes
