Phil,

The water ring is only on the 2.1 liter motor. Ignore that on your 84 model.

Have fun... Try not to get frustrated... You will run into many of these type of questions... Just post and you will get help.

Well im on the first page(wasserBoxer removal) and Im already stuck, gee I feel dumb.

My question is: Does anyone know what peter means by "disconnect the engine compartment water ring" ?

What...is that the engine bay hatch gasket?If so Why? (Foot in mouth), at least I got a roof over the project. and this is rainy season in Florida. This instruction manual could use some illustrations. Thanks,
