If you want to temporarily suspend receipt of email from the vanagon list do the following:

Send an e-mail to listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with "set vanagon nomail" sans quotes in the body of the e-mail. NOTE: DOUBLE CHECK THE E-MAIL ADDRESS - DO NOT SEND THIS TO THE VANAGON MAIL LIST BUT THE LIST SERVER!

When you return and want to receive e-mail again just send another e-mail to listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with "set vanagon mail" sans quotes in the body of the e-mail.

It's just that simple!
