Subject: Made in the Shade!

I had my '77 VW bus done when I lived in Florida (in '77) and it made a huge difference with the air conditioning.

Now I've got an '87 Syncro with 134a air-conditioning and live in southern Arizona and wouldn't consider going without tinting. Even with tinting the heat here is so bad that the a/c is marginal.

I've tried doing it myself in the past and it really does take some skill. I spent about $200 having my Syncro done last year. I consider it well worth it. I got the window film that has the metallic content as it reflects more heat. Some film is just dye. The metallic is more costly.

I'd say DO IT. You won't regret it.

Scott
