Hi- Our kit was delivered without the left engine carrier or the ignition control unit. When i discovered this, my natural response was to envision months of goofing around trying to get replacements. Well I have good news to report. I spoke with Peter today. He says that he became aware of these shortages in many of the kits last week or earlier. He knew I was missing parts before I did. Peter identified which kits were missing the engine carriers, and ordered replacements from S.A. They arrived in Texas last week and were shipped to us last Tuesday. Peter said that I should see it tomorrow. The ICU's are a slightly different story. Said he's been having problems with the supplier. He found a new supplier that is shipping right now. Replacement ICU's should be in the hands of those that need them within the next week. I have to say that I am impressed that replacements for missing parts were on thier way to me before I even knew they were missing!

FYI: Anyone wondered about that "Remtronic" logo that was inserted into the cover of the instruction book? I asked aboutit. Remtronic is the company that does the final assembly of the kits. The engine is made by VW, the kit was designed jointly by VW and Remtronic, and Remtronic is distributor.

Hope that all is well with you other TiiCoists.

Gary
