You could hang a big VW logo around your neck on a thick gold chain and hold
it up as you nod hi to passing VW's.

In Florida I've been honked at and flashed at with headlights by other
vanagons (I've only seen 2), waved at enthusiastically by a whole family in
a Eurovan, and honked and waved at by a guy in a Chevy truck (naw, it wasn't
'cause I'm so cute), but have found that the people in the older busses
don't even notice my Westy - except for the one couple that was checking it
out in a parking lot (my friend warned me that he saw someone  loitering
around my van as he was coming in the restaurant).  I knew immediately that
it had to be the owners of the old camper bus that I had purposely parked
near and checked out myself!
