Most manufacturers don't feel that there is enough demand to warrant it. But I do have a supplier in Europe who is willing to make both the front Syncro pipe, and all of the 1.9L pipes, in Stainless, at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, they are dragging their feet because they have another contract for stainless Porsche exhaust parts which is much more lucrative. (Needless to say, people with Porsches pay much more for exhaust than we do, which translates into much more profit for the manufacturer.) Once they're done with that, maybe they'll have time for us lowly Vanagon owners. :-) . So yes, it will happen, but not right away. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc.
