I had the steel wheels of my '81 blasted and powdercoated--in black, not silver, but they have a rainbow of colors to choose from. I paid about $28/wheel, total, for this, at a big powdercoating shop in Denver. They looked soooo good, I wouldn't think of hand painting. They have one winter and about 9-10 months on them and they still look perfect. I'm about to have the 5th done, then swap them onto my '87 (with Agilis tires.) Some day I'll have the other set done when the tires wear out.
