Any idea what is involved in installing an Audi 5-cylinder engine in a Vanagon?? I know one of the biggest problems with installing an inline engine in a vanagon is getting in at that 15 degree angle, and then not having it starve for oil. The Audi motors come at an angle in the car to begin with, though as to how many degrees it is is beyond me. I would think that would make installation an serviceablilty much better, and i know that they deliver when it comes to power (would you like turbo or no??!!). I just need to know what i'm getting into with this engine mod. I would think that it would work out far better than a Vanaru. And i have about 30 good, complete donor cars to choose from.

Daniel Tatum

83 Westy

86 Golf Diesel

Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

|
