Sounds like several of us got New Tiicos recently. I was sick of mine for several days after I got it cranked because it ran dead rich and would barely pull itself. The main problem turned out to be an unnecessary bushing in a plastic connector on a sensor that bolts to the intake manifold. After I figured out that this bushing was keeping the plug from making full contact, the engine completely changed character. I made a two hundred mile over night trip this weekend, and I'm in love. Can't remember now why I put up with the waterleaker all those years. Oh yeah! It was the MONEY! Jim Huskins |
