Subject: Vanagon Heater
Content-Type: text/plain

Last winter I was doing a little camping about 100 miles from Dallas and on my return trip I had the heater levers adjusted as best I could to try to get a little heat into the front cabin but as usual most of the heat was going out the rear duct at the floor facing the rear cabin area. While climbing up a few hills with rough roads I notice a clinking sound and looked back to see several DrPepper cans rolling around on the floor. I intended to stop and put these cans into storage before continuing but somehow just didn't think about it. Well you guessed it! About thirty miles down the road when the engine got nice and warm and the cabin was warming nicely one of the DrPepper cans exploded front the heat coming out of the rear duct. It went off like a cherry bomb and sprayed DrPepper all over the front cabin and that is where I was at so I just had to sit there and take the hot spray until I could pull off the road. I gotta say! My cooler doesn't slide around anymore. That DrPepper is a really great temporary adhesive if applied to your carpet properly.
