As many of you may recall, this thread started back in the beginning of July.

I have been trying to get Metro VW of Philadelphia to install what has turned out to be rear shoulder belts in my 86 GL as a retro fit. VWoA authorized that this be done for free. The job has yet to be done. So far I have taken my van in at least 7 times (I stopped counting) because the service department and the parts department don't seem to work together. There seems to be a sleeve that is backordered. What kills me is that when I called to check if the part had come in, I was told this last time by the parts guy, that he had the part in his hand. Prior to that the service end would reshedule me at 10 day intervals, hold the van for a day, and then tell me the part was not in. urggggh!

I called VWoA again and complained. While I was at it, I requested that VW pay for the install of the left middle shoulder belt as per tech bulletin # V689104. I hope I get it.

The saga continues..........
