Could be. It stayed cold, but I suppose that could just be the fact that it's insulated and full of already cold stuff.

However, there are warning in the owner's manual about not leaving the fridge on 12V for too long with the engine off. I could be wrong about that (too) but I think I remember reading that. I'll double check again.
