No, no, Alan... you don't understand. Wives usually say, "I HAD to buy it... it was ON SALE! Just think of the money I saved." Your question is well founded, but mute due to the fact that the item(s) HAD to be purchased since they were ON SALE. Hopefully you have a better grasp of the situation now.

My ex used to say that all the time... so now I found a new one that doesn't say that... yet.
