This search method is actually quite capable.  It requires a few more steps,
but it works.  Basically you email the list server w/ a query and then it
replies w/ a list of posts meeting your criteria.  You then send another
email to the server requesting the full content of the desired posts.
Server replies w/ those messages.

It can take several minutes to a half hour + for the server to reply each
time.  Patience.  (Hopefully the server relocation won't interupt things.)
