Good Day Everyone,

We just got back from ten days in the Syncro in Western Colorado and Eastern Utah. Great trip. Spending this long in the Vanagon brought to our attention some items which need to be repaired / updated etc. I would appreciate list member recommendations for acquisition of the items listed below. We're talking about a 1987 Syncro Westfalia. Please respond to me directly (as well as the list) as I don't always have an opportunity to read every digest.

1) Replacement carpet set (gray) for the front; I really only need the two pieces that cover the wheel housings, right and left.

2) Floormats. I would like to find some that fit right and hold a fair amount of water and crud. Are there any one-piece mats which cover the entire front carpet area, including between the front seats?

3) Drip Tray for inside the refrigerator (the one under the heat exchanger). I stepped on it and broke it.

4) Replacement covers for the utility access ports on the left side.

5) Weather seals, pop-top to roof of Vanagon. I bought some aftermarket seals a few years ago, and the rubber bead won't stay attached to the U-channel which attaches to the roof. I'm getting tired of trying to glue it back together. I'm really looking for some recommendations for the best quality seal.

-- Thanks everybody, Jon B Kanas
