Steve,

Silver metallic, Gold metalic, anything with "flakes" in it is a pain to lay down without getting zebra stripes---

Pressure, distance, speed the gun travels, and how the paint is reduced are all factors in the prevetion of zebra stripes. Base- clear coat is the best for the prevention of this phenomina.

Unless your prepared to be masking off the whole interior, skuffing all the interior metal, along with all the door jambs, and removing all the rubber door seals, my advise is to keep it the same color, or as close as possible.

Repaint the bumper's---no big deal.

Why mask the fading problem with some miracle in a can, or bottle that won't give you long lasting results.

I used the Forever Black Ca-Ca, on my BMW, and it lasted maybe 2 weeks---I repainted them 1 year ago with urethane paint and they still look as good as new.

OK--I'm done.

Later,
