Hi Gang-
We went out to dinner last nite in our '88...propelled by our new
TiiCo engine!  This thing rocks!
Our conversion also included the Weddle 5 speed, and we were able to
carry over our 2.50in. sport exhaust from the previous engine.
Beautiful music.
The TiiCo installation was a bigger job than I had anticipated, but I
did a lot of "tidying up" while the engine and tranny were out.
Killed alot of rust beginnings on edges of the undercarriage, and
sprayed 5 cans of 3M undercoat on everything in sight (I even got some
on the van).
To top it all off, I bought a logo for the back hatch from a Golf GTi.
Our Vanagon GL is now a Vanagon GTi!
Way Cool.
