Again, thanks for all the feed back.

Not worried about pump priming now. I will disconnect the silinoid wire and crank the motor until oil preasure light and new VDO guage register.

I am going to buy one of Parts Place (4) OEM 82 vanagon diesel radiators for $400. I can get other for $220, but if my fan and mounting brakets wont fit, I just don't have the time to mess with it. This van has been off the road since Christmas, I need it back on the road. Want to a least get to one show this fall.
