Hi Chris,

I just did this last spring and let me tell you that
if you have one connection that is bad, then most
likely, you have several connections that are
about to get bad as well (walking wounded).  I plan
and do the whole gas tank removal procedure and
replace all of the fuel lines at once.  This way,
you get a good idea of how things are laid out and
a chance to replace your fuel sender seal as well as
the other fuel tank grommets and see how they go.
After you've done this procedure, you will have a
great respect for  how delicate the fuel system can
be.  And, you should be able to do it the next time
without removing the tank.  Get the necessary fuel
line and crossover tube from Ken at Vanagain and do
it right!

Also, a word about the cross-over tube.  Be extremely
careful to not twist the hose on the small tubes.  I
twisted the new fuel line trying to get it off again
and the plastic just twisted right off with it...  :(
