I'd suggest that you use a bubber hammer and start out gently and increasing the strength of your blows until you loosten them. You should be able to keep an close eye on your cylinders by taking your time.

Stan Wilder (I have absolutely no knowledge of Waser Baxer engines but this works good with air cooled TType IV)
