we were driving in eugene on our way back to portland and saw a 15' dinghy tied upside down on an older mitsubishi short bed pickup truck. tied upside down on the bedrack, and the boat was nearly as long as the truck. the bottom of the keel was four feet above the top of the cab roof.

i discreetly moved onto a different freeway.
