Subject: To Yellowstone in a Diesel?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

My wife and I are planning on a trip west in the coming days. We will make stops in the Badlands (again) and perhaps Theodore Roosevelt National Park before making a run for the Yellowstone region. We will be in our '82 Westy-Diesel. While it is a low mileage, well maintained vehicle, in its stock configuration it obviously has its limits.

Which approach into Yellowstone would be easiest on the little 1.6 NA? We will be entering Wyoming on I-90. If we make it, what are some of the preferred campsites within the park? (w/o electric).

Has anyone on the list made a similar trip with a 1.6?

Thanks in advance for your advice.
