You may try using a fiberglass "header tape." Wrap that rascal, even your header, to reduce engine compartment temperatures.

Hey all you TIICO'ers...

I'm concerned about heat from the muffler affecting the belts since there is not much space between them. Has anyone put a heatshield between the engine and the muffler/cat? Is there some way to use the original heat shield?
