Interesting... I called Speedway VW in Victoria to check if they had heard anything. Nothing so far, and they have 2 rebuilt 2.1L WB in stock, and said they could get more from VWoA, or at least thought they could... Perhaps all the old WB reman's are going to Canada? We always seem to be behind the rest of world... :-(

Doesn't matter too much to me - I'm only interested in a TD conversion, so I'll probably have to scrounge parts to make it work.

Anyone have a diesel of TD Vanagon they'd like to swap for a 2.1L engine with all the bits in good working order? ;-)
