Actually all the old wasserboxer engines DO go to Canada. My factory rebuild came from a VW facility somewhere in Ontario.

Interesting... I called Speedway VW in Victoria to check if they had heard anything. Nothing so far, and they have 2 rebuilt 2.1L WB in stock, and said they could get more from VWoA, or at least thought they could... Perhaps all the old WB reman's are going to Canada? We always seem to be behind the rest of world... :-(
